Braden and Daddy got to ride go-karts while on vacation, and if you can't tell by the look on Braden's face, it may have been the highlight of his trip. Daddy said that he didn't close his mouth the whole ride and kept giggling and smiling.

After the go-karts, the kids visited with some friends....

We had a wonderful time on our very first family vacation. Braden spent lots of time playing in the sand. He made lots of sand castles.
We went miniature golfing one night and Cayman and Brighton thought it was more fun to eat each other's hands instead of watching the boring golf game!
Notice that Braden and Cayman are making the exact same face! He taught her well!
We picked up a new pet while at the beach... Hermie (formerly known as Harold, formerly known as Homer), the Hermit Crab. Mommy is so happy she has a new pet!
We tried to get a picture of all the babies on the beach, but out of 40 pictures, this is the best I could find. Someone was either looking down, grabbing sand or had sand ALL over their face(that would be Cayman who inhaled it like there was no tomorrow!)
Mommy had fun digging a giant hole with Braden to trick Uncle Dog-O and Aunt Brandi into believing that he lost his body!

Cayman spent a lot of time trying to get what she was not supposed to have!
She also spent lots of time in her backpack, which she loved!!!
And playing with her beach buddy, Cousin Olivia!
We did boardwalk trips every morning, and hoped that Cayman would take her nap during our walk, which she did most mornings.
Braden had a quick kite flying experience before the lifeguard shut us down because it was too early for kites!
He was all decked out and ready for a beach safari.
Cayman LOVED the sand... a little TOO much!
Mommy and Cayman's matching cover-ups.
Braden and Papa venturing out into the ocean.

Cayman had her turn to get buried too, only up to her knees, of course!

We had such a great time on vacation with you Braden and Cayman! What stories we have to tell. I enjoyed the sand just as much as you. Check out my pictures in the morning. Mommy and Daddy were awful tired after their 7 hour drive to update tonight.
It looks as you had a great time. I am glad you had good weather and a lot of things to do. We love the matching outfits...How adorable!!!
Looks like so much fun, you guys! Can't wait to hear all about it.
