Apple Hills had their Berry Fest this weekend, and boy was it fun! We got to eat yummy pancakes, sausage and blueberry and raspberry applesauce. Then we got to visit all the neat animals that live up there. Here we are with Daddy, in front of the piggies! Cayman was keeping a careful eye on them, so as to be sure they did not suddenly grow wings and fly over the fence to attack or gain massive strength in order to break through their pen, in hopes of eating her. Needless to say, she was NOT a big fan!
We did coax her into trying to feed the donkey, until he opened his mouth, that is. Then she was outta there!
Braden and Daddy found lots of beautiful gems while they were mining for treasure!
And Braden even got a pirate painted on his face!

Don't tell cayman this, but when we were there last year, a goat actually DID jump the fence and come running at us. There was a great deal of excitement and screaming of small children. =)
