We spent the weekend in Strasburg, visiting with Thomas, for the very first time. This was Braden's first Thomas sighting, and each time Thomas came chugging down the tracks (it was probably close to 20 times) every child would stop what they were doing to watch and wave to Thomas!
Braden was completely in awe!
Not only did we get to SEE Thomas, but we also got to RIDE on Thomas!
And we got to take our very own picture with Thomas!
This was Cayman's first Thomas experience also. She was not overly impressed! (She slept through the first half of the trip!)
We also got to meet Sir Topham Hatt, conductor of the Island of Sodor Railroad.
Braden also got to sit inside a giant lego display of, who else, Thomas!
Just in case you forgot where we went...
Here is Thomas saying "Hullo, Braden"! His eyes did all of the talking!
To make the whole experience official, Braden got a tatoo. He said it didn't hurt a bit!

Braden, it looks as your dream has become reality. I cannot even imagine seeing my favorite character 10 feet away!!! Especially when I was 3.
So much fun packed into your weekend! It must have been amazing to see Thomas. We will have to join you next year. Do you think Thomas will say, "Hullo Olivia?"
