Discovery Center Celebration!

Braden celebrated his 5th birthday with his friends and cousins at the Discovery Center and he had such a great time! His theme was knights (not just any knights, either... Lion Knights- from his Playmobil set- the reason for all the yellow and blue). Here is the cake, with much assistance from Wegmans! Braden insisted on a castle with a drawbridge, to go over the water, and a scene of knights preparing for battle! It was a tall order, but I think we pulled it off!




There were many knights and princesses that joined in the celebration including Sir Brighton and Easton and Uncle Denny. Apparently Brighton is being entertained by the Jester.

Even some of Braden's preschool friends were able to help him celebrate. This was one of my favorite pictures of Braden from the day, with his preschool friend, Morgan. Too cute!!!

Princess Livi, who was escorted by her prince (Uncle Dog-O/Greg), was amazed by the jousting competition. And I am happy to report that is was a success for the Lion Knights!

That was cause for a celebration! Everyone joined in for a riveting round of Ring-Around-The-Rosies! (Oh... I have to make note of Braden's "best friend" Kaety from preschool... she is the blonde with the yellow crown. They even have nick-named each other K-Dog and B-Dog. Kaety is a BIG fan of anything relating to dogs! They play dog catcher and dogs at preschool!)

Braden had so much fun and is so thankful for all his friends and family that love him and wanted to help him celebrate his birthday! Thanks everyone!
