Taking it to the streets...

Braden and Mommy get time every afternoon, while Cayman naps, to work on reading, writing, math, and of course, lots of play time! (He can count to 100 by 10's and 1's, he know over 40 sight words, he can sound out most words he comes across and is doing fabulous with addition and subtraction) Well today, since it was so nice out, we decided to take our work outside. Here is the letter we were practicing today (we will finish the uppercase by the end of the week and start on the lowercase, which may not sound exciting to you, but it sure is to Braden... he is especially excited to practice the lowercase L's!)

And Cayman got fancy new shoes today from Grandma and Papa Bruce, and, boy, did she feel special! Here she is showing them off!

And here she is making sure you NOTICE her fancy new shoes!

Oh my gosh, Braden you are doing so well. What a smart boy! You're lucky to have a Mommy who's a teacher and can teach you all that stuff before you start school.

Cayman, love the new shoes. Can't wait to hear you say that word. I bet it sounds a lot like socks. I was especially eyeing that cute dress you wore today!

Wow Braden, how awesome!!!
I think Braden should skip preschool, kindergarten and 1st grade. He's already there...he knows pretty much everything they teach in those grades :)
Good for you, Anna. I bet Brad is quite proud of both of you...
